Canadian Museums Association
Excellence Award – Category Research
This prize was awarded to the Museum for Fort Odanak: the past revisited. This archaeological project has exceeded the current norms of museum practice and fostered the understanding and acquisition of new knowledge.
Aboriginal Tourism Quebec
Cultural Center Award, Interpretation Site and Museum
This award rewards the Museum for distinguishing itself by providing visitors with an exceptional and quality visitor experience that promotes the influence of Aboriginal culture in all its forms.
Quebec Museum Society
This prize was awarded to the Museum for the media, economic and social impact of a project that has succeeded in creating links and meaning for a whole community, Odanak Fort: the past revisited.
